Doug Bartek is a high-tech industry veteran with over 40 years of experience, during which he was principally responsible for over 28 successful sales, acquisitions, mergers, and financings of high-tech business entities. Highlights from his background include:
- Cofounder and Chairman Emeritus of Tango Networks since 2005, where he raised $50 million in capital, built the management team and secured major contracts with US and International wireless carriers.
- Founder, CEO and Chairman of Microtune until 2003, a company he created, grew to $100 million in yearly revenue, and took public. At the market peak, Microtune was valued at over $2.5 billion.
- President and CEO of Acumos, a company he grew from $20 million in yearly revenue to $75 million and positioned for sale to Cirrus Logic. He then grew that division of Cirrus Logic from $75 million to $600 million, making it the most profitable division of the company.
Doug received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, an MS in Engineering from Arizona State University, and an MBA from Arizona State University.
