Matt Falkin

Matt is a multifamily real estate professional with extensive private and institutional experience in acquisitions, asset management, development, and investor relations.  As Vice President of CAF Funds, Matt is responsible for all aspects of Fund operations.   

Previously, Matt was with Streetlights Residential (SLR) working on the Development Finance team where he underwrote and evaluated development opportunities across markets including Texas, California, and Nevada. While at SLR, Matt closed on over $200 million of development projects and asset managed a portfolio of assets, totaling in excess of $500 million (+2,500 units), through various stages of the development process: closing, construction, lease-up, and subsequent disposition. 

Prior to joining Streetlights, Matt held the position of Senior Regional Manager at Aragon Holdings, a real estate private equity group based in Los Angeles, CA. He has sourced, evaluated, underwrote and executed acquisitions of over $500 million in multifamily real estate investments, and asset managed a portfolio of $350 million that included 9 institutional grade properties totaling over 3,300 units.

Matt graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration. He is a member of The Real Estate Council (TREC), TREC Young Guns, and holds a CA DRE Broker License.
